Viswam.AI Set To Train 3L Engg Students

Viswam.AI, a joint initiative of Swecha and IIIT Hyderabad, announced its plan to launch a summer internship programme on Artificial Intelligence, under which three lakh engineering students from underserved regions across India will be trained. The initiative is aimed at democratising access to AI education and skilling, particularly for students.

Viswam.AI also reiterated its call for contributors to join the Telugu Corpus building initiative, a foundational effort to develop inclusive AI systems for Indian languages. These announcements were made during the second flagship edition of AI Days 2025, a two-day conference hosted by Viswam.AI, which brought together AI innovators, leaders, and enablers. About 1,500 attendees participated in collaborative problem-solving, and discussions around deep tech and the future of Artificial Intelligence in the Global South.
