Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy assured women archery champion Chikitha Taniparthi of all kinds of support including complete training to win medals in the next Olympic games. Chikitha has created a world record by becoming the first woman to win a gold medal for India at the 2025 Youth World Archery Championship held in Canada. She also won a silver medal in the senior world cup team event held in Shanghai, China. The world Archery champion paid a courtesy call to CM Revanth Reddy today. During interaction, the Chief Minister said that the government is giving priority to promote sports in the state. Aspiring sports persons will be encouraged to win medals in the Olympic games, the CM said. MLA Vijaya Ramana Rao, SAT chairman Shivsena Reddy, Rajender Rao, and others were also present.
