A fresh low-pressure system forming over central India is expected to trigger widespread rainfall across Telangana over the next few days, with the heaviest spells forecast for the state’s northern and eastern districts.
According to official meteorological reports, districts including Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Karimnagar, Hanumakonda, Warangal, Mahabubabad, and Khammam are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rains from this evening through the early hours of Wednesday. The rainfall activity may continue intermittently through July 26 under the influence of this new low-pressure area (LPA).
Hyderabad may experience moderate to isolated heavy rainfall tonight. However, the city is expected to remain mostly dry during the daytime, with showers likely picking up towards evening and continuing into the night.
In the western and central parts of Telangana, moderate to locally heavy showers are likely in districts such as Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Kamareddy, and Rajanna Sircilla, with increased rainfall activity during late evening hours.
While intense rainfall is expected in the upper districts, remaining regions, including Hyderabad, are forecast to witness scattered moderate to occasional heavy rainfalls.
