Hyderabad: Telangana has reinforced its position as a preferred global investment destination at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, securing major commitments across artificial intelligence, clean energy, manufacturing, steel, aviation, and global capability centres. Through multiple MoUs and investment proposals under the ‘Telangana Rising’ initiative, the state attracted leading global and Indian companies, signalling strong investor confidence in its long-term growth vision.
Sargad plans Rs1,000 crore investment in Telangana US-based industrial and investment platform Sargad has signed an MoU with the Telangana government to explore phased investments of up to Rs 1,000 crore over the next three to five years. Founder and CEO Srinivas Thota met the ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation at WEF 2026 and expressed interest in setting up an aviation MRO facility, potentially in Warangal or Adilabad, aligning with the state’s regional development strategy.
NUkler Products Proposes`6k cr Clean Energy project
NUkler Products has submitted an Expression of Interest to develop a Small Modular Reactor (SMR)-based clean energy project in Telangana with a capacity of up to 300 MW. The proposed project entails an investment of approximately Rs 6,000 crore. The proposal was presented to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy during WEF 2026, reinforcing Telangana’s focus on sustainable and advanced energy infrastructure.
Blaize Signs MoU for AI and semicon initiatives
California-based AI technology firm Blaize has entered into an MoU with the Telangana government to collaborate on electronics, semiconductor, and artificial intelligence initiatives. Signed during WEF 2026, the agreement includes plans to scale Blaize’s Hyderabad R&D centre. Discussions also covered AI applications in healthcare, manufacturing, and energy efficiency, supporting Telangana’s ambition to become a global AI and data centre hub.
L’Oréal to set up Beauty-Tech GCC in Hyd
L’Oréal has announced plans to inaugurate its world’s first beauty-tech Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad in November 2026. The facility will function as a global hub for innovation, AI, analytics, and supply chain technology. The investment was confirmed during a meeting with L’Oréal CEO Nicolas Hieronimus, further strengthening Hyderabad’s position as a leading destination for next-generation GCCs.
AB InBev to expand brewing operations in Tg
Global brewing major AB InBev has announced plans to expand its existing manufacturing facility in Telangana. The expansion, discussed during WEF 2026, is expected to generate additional annual revenue for the state and strengthen local employment.
