Telangana Govt At Forefront Of Addressing Employees’ Needs: Bhatti

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the State government is leading in meeting the needs of government employees and that a committee of officials was formed to examine their demands. He made these remarks during a public meeting organised on the occasion of the foundation laying ceremony for the Medical College building in Khammam on Thursday.
The Deputy Chief Minister emphasised that no one needs to worry about the state government’s commitment to employee welfare, as assured by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He expressed anger over the false propaganda being spread by BRS and BJP leaders through deceptive statements. "Despite the state’s revenue position, welfare schemes worth Rs. 60,000 to 70,000 crore are being implemented without putting an additional financial burden on the public.
Salaries are being paid on the first of every month, and the CM has assured that time will be taken to address employee grievances," Bhatti said. He criticised the previous rulers, saying they incurred debts of Rs. 7 lakh crores, but never paid government employees’ salaries on time, often after the 15th of the month.
