Telangana Government to Begin Distribution of New Ration Cards from July 14 – Here's How to Get Yours

The Telangana state government is set to commence the distribution of new ration cards starting July 14, 2025. As part of an expansive welfare initiative, over 4.76 lakh new ration card applications have been approved, set to benefit more than 11.30 lakh citizens across the state.

🛒 Ration Card Distribution Drive Kicks Off

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will formally launch the distribution process at Tungaturthi Sabha, marking the beginning of a state-wide rollout. Post-inauguration, the ration cards will be distributed in all constituencies by respective ministers and MLAs, as per a constituency-wise action plan prepared by the government.

🧾 What You Get With the New Ration Card

Under the new scheme launched on April 1, 2025, every eligible family member receives 6 kg of food grains per month. Beneficiaries are already availing rations through this program and have welcomed the new cards with enthusiasm.
