Sri City Celebrates Annual Festival

Hyderabad: Sri City, an integrated business city held the annual festivities of Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple at its premises. Employees and devotees from nearby villages attended the religious ceremonies at the temple.

The celebrations commenced on Friday evening with Vedic scholars performing rituals like Maha Sankalpam and Kalasha Sthaapana pooja, Punyah vachanam, and the recitation of Vishnu Sahasranamam, an official Sri City press release said adding that on early Saturday morning, special pujas were offered to the Lord starting with Suprabhatam, followed by rituals including Ganapati Homam, Navagraha Homam, and Sudarshana Homam.

After performing the Homam, pujas and taking part in the Go Puja (cow worship), Dr Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder and Managing Director of Sri City lauded the active participation of devotees in large numbers, the release mentioned.

He also encouraged the Sri City community to participate in the temple’s events. The programme, coordinated by Palleti Balaji, Madhusudana Reddy, and PSB Sastry, drew devotees from surrounding villages such as Sullurupeta, Tada, and Sriharikota, as well as the Sri City community,
