Security beefed up at US Consulate

Hyderabad: In response to protests in Hyderabad triggered by recent developments in West Asia and the passing of Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei, security measures at the US Consulate have been significantly enhanced. Officials from the Cyberabad Commissionerate have instructed the Gachibowli police to ensure stringent security protocols are implemented at Nanakramguda in the Financial district. Consequently, law enforcement personnel have been stationed at the American Consulate, with thorough monitoring of the access roads. Vehicle inspections are being conducted in the adjacent areas. Additionally, police attention has been specifically directed towards prominent hotels within the IT corridor, where they are gathering information regarding American nationals and citizens of other nations who are lodged there. Reports indicate that heightened surveillance measures are being established in residential areas inhabited by American citizens.
