Ramky Foundation bags Tusker Award

Hyderabad: The Ramky Foundation, a well-known voluntary organisation based in Hyderabad, has been recognised with the Tusker Award for outstanding achievement in corporate social responsibility (CSR). The award was presented to the Foundation's President, MV Ramireddy, by senior Congress leader and MP Shashi Tharoor during a ceremony that took place in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The award ceremony was conducted under the auspices of the Indo Continental Trade and Entrepreneurship Promotion Council. Esteemed companies and non-profit organisations from across India took part in the event. The Ramky Foundation was honoured with an award for its significant contributions during the fiscal year 2024–25 in various fields, including environmental conservation, education, healthcare, skills training for disadvantaged youth, and women's empowerment.

"We are humbled by the Tuskar Award. It is an inspiration as well as a reminder to take up many more projects," Ramireddy said in a press release on Tuesday.

In collaboration with the Ramky Group of Companies, the Foundation is associated with both government and private sector bodies and operates extensively in 20 states across India. In Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and West Bengal, the Foundation has provided livelihood opportunities to over 5,000 tribal families through its community development programs.
