Hyderabad: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma emphasised the invaluable role of Pravasi Rajasthanis in spreading the culture, ideas, and heritage of Rajasthan across the globe. Speaking at the Pravasi Rajasthani Meet in Hyderabad, he highlighted the community’s professional achievements as well as their active participation in social causes.
Sharma invited Pravasi Rajasthanis to take part in Rajasthan’s development by exploring investment opportunities across the state. “Rajasthan is Ready, Rising, and Leading,” he said, noting the government’s efforts to create an investor-friendly environment and strengthen economic growth.
Sharma said the State will celebrate Pravasi Rajasthani Day annually on December 10, with the first event scheduled to be held in Jaipur this year. He also stated that a series of Pravasi Rajasthani meets would be organised across India and abroad to reinforce connections with the Rajasthani diaspora.
To support expatriate families, the government has established a single point of contact in every district, with Additional District Collectors appointed as nodal officers. The Rajasthan Foundation has been strengthened with 14 new chapters and functional leadership in all 26 chapters worldwide, including New York, London, and Riyadh.
