On Wednesday, two Osman Sagar floodgates were opened, allowing approximately 220 cubic meters of water to flow into the Musi River.
Residents along the Musi riverbanks were advised to take precautions by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), which has been keeping a careful eye on the rising water levels. Authorities warned residents to remain vigilant as the water flow is predicted to increase even more over the next few hours.
