MeeSeva Services on WhatsApp launched

Hyderabad: Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu launched the ‘MeeSeva Services on WhatsApp’ at a hotel in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The State government has enabled access to over 580 MeeSeva services across 38 departments through WhatsApp, making citizen services faster and more seamless. The service can be accessed round-the-clock through the official WhatsApp number 8096 95 8096. Citizens can now apply for certificates, track applications, receive updates, and download issued documents directly from the authenticated WhatsApp number. The WhatsApp chatbot has been implemented, in collaboration with Meta, leveraging advanced conversational AI technologies. Significantly, the solution has been supported by Meta, reflecting a strong public–private collaboration to enhance citizen service delivery.
