Leopard Roaming Freely Near Hyderabad Military Zone, Alert Issued
Leopard movement detected near Hyderabad’s Ibrahim Bagh military zone. Forest officials install trap cages and cameras after recent sightings.

A leopard was captured on surveillance footage crossing a road near the Golkonda-Ibrahim Bagh military premises late Monday night.
Following the sighting, Golkonda police promptly alerted the forest department, which has been monitoring leopard activity across the western fringes of Hyderabad for over a week.
Officials say the same leopard has likely been moving through the Mancherial and Narsingi regions recently. Despite intensified tracking efforts, the animal has managed to elude capture so far.
Forest personnel have deployed four trap cages and multiple motion-sensor cameras in and around the Greyhounds training zone. But the leopard continues to avoid detection, leaving authorities on edge.
