KTR Pays Tributes To Telangana Martyrs

Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KTR and party leaders today paid homage to the statue of Professor Jaya Shankar and Konda Laxman Bapuji at Tank Bund and at Telangana Martyrs' memorial in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, he said Konda Laxman Bapuji and Professor Jayashankar were the inspiration and the pillars of the Telangana movement and the journey of their party. He said the main reason for this entire 25-year journey of the party were the inspiration from the two leaders and the leadership provided by the party chief KCR. “25 years ago in this same area in Jal Drishyam, our party was born under the leadership of KCR. The journey of the party that started with one person that day, has been strengthened with lakhs of people and achieved Telangana State. It is very happy to start the party's silver jubilee celebration at the place where the party was born - Jal Drishyam. A humble tribute to Konda Laxman Bapuji, who stood by the pink flag at a time when there was no other way to stand,” he said.
