Judicial commission for dist revamp: TG CM

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced that the state government will soon set up a commission led by a retired High Court or Supreme Court judge to reorganise the districts and mandals in Telangana. The Chief Minister launched the 2026 diary and calendar for the Telangana Gazetted Officers Central Association at the Secretariat on Monday. During his speech, Revanth Reddy reflected on how the previous government divided districts and mandals without proper consideration. Now, the state government is receiving many requests and demands for a more sensible reorganisation of these regions, he said.
