Int’l Startup Festival Kicks Off From Today

Hyderabad: The third edition of International Startup Festival 2024, organised by International Startup Foundation, is set to further boost the startup ecosystem in Hyderabad. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, and IT minister D Sridhar Babu will be formally inaugurating the three-day International Startup Festival and Plenary Session-2, today (Thursday) at Engineering Staff College of India, while D Shetkar Suresh Kumar, Member of Parliament, Zahirabad will be inaugurating the International Startup Expo and Plenary Session-1.

Themed ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the AI Era,’ the Fest will have startups from Fintech, AgriTech, HealthTech, EduTech, DeepTech, and others attending. The event will be hosting more than 250 CXOs, 300 VCs, 500 Global Angels, 2,000 delegates and 200 exhibitors from over 15 countries. Atluri, MD, Global Head of Enterprise Quality, BNY; Amit Gupta, President, Ecosystem Group; Dr BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder Chairman, Cyient; Dr Sangita Reddy, Joint Mananging Director, Apollo Hospitals; GV Prasad, Co-Chairman and MD, Dr Reddy’s Labs; Madhukar Gangadi, Founder CEO, MedPlus Health Services; Dr J M Vyas, VC-NFSU and Director General, DFS; Prashant Nandella, President, HYSEA; Raj P Narayanam, Founder and Executive Chairman, Zaggle; Srini Raju, Founder Chairman, iLabs Capital, and others will be present during the inaugural.

On the sideline of pitch fest and demo day, the events that will be held on the first day includes, keynote address by Dr KV Subramaniam, a Rural Economic and Global CXO roundtable, Investment roundtable: Insights and Foresights, and Lifesciences roundtable. The second day of the Fest will begin with Fintech roundtable, Cybersecurity roundtable, followed by Agritech and Global Commerce roundtable. Under Investor Connect, the sectors that will be covered includes – Aviation, Spacetech, Consumertech, Defencetech, Healthtech. In the second half the day participants will get to witness GCC and Junicorns roundtable, a fireside chat and investor connect in Fintech, Edutech, Energytech, VLSI and Embedded SW. The day will end with a plenary session and an award ceremony.
