Hyderabad: A new chapter is unfolded in the development of the youngest state of Telangana with the laying foundation stone of the prestigious Bharat Future City which emerges as the hub of the world's fortune 500 companies within a decade of time, said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
Amid a big gathering and a cheering atmosphere, the Chief Minister perfomed Bhumi Puja for the construction of the Future City Development Authority ( FCDA) building and Radial road -1 ( phase one and two) at Meerkhanpet village in Kandukur mandal of Rangareddy district on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy highlighted the government's vision to promote the Future City as a destination for the world of opportunities for investments. "The future City will be a destination for investments and world of opportunities. The government has prepared ambitious plans to develop the future city a great city. Let us develop the city in a way that all the top class cities in the world discuss the future city," he said.
The Chief Minister recollected how the Hyderabad City, Secunderabad and Cyberabad cities were developed during Quli Qutub Shah, Nizam's rule and in the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh respectively. " We have a lot to learn from the past and build a future city for future generations," he said.
Appealing to people to stop falling prey to the opposition's false propaganda against the future city, Revanth Reddy said some adverse forces conspired to stall the future city project. The political opponents also levelled allegations that he owned lands in the future city project. "The Future City is for future generations and not for my family members," he said.
The Chief Minister sought the cooperation of all and cautioned people to stop approaching the courts since the government is ready to address the grievances through a dialogue. The government is proactive to solve the issues of every one generously, he said.
Further, Revanth Reddy said since Telangana is a land locked state, the government is ready to build a Dry Port connecting the greenfield highway between Machllipatnam and Future City and the union government has also agreed to develop a bullet train network from Future City to Amaravati.Elaborating the unique facilities available in the future city, he said an underground power line network will be developed in the new city. The Future City Development Building and Skill University works will be completed in December. The authority will start functioning and discharging duties from this building three times a month. All the prospective investors will also be invited to the FCDA office for talks, Revanth Reddy announced. The Chief Minister also suggested to Ministers Bhatti Vikramarka and Sridhar Babu to allocate 10 acres of land for Singareni ColleriesCorporate office.
