The city witnessed a marginal dip in daytime temperatures on Monday, with the mercury settling at 37.1 degrees Celsius, marking a 2-degree deviation below the seasonal average. The early morning temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 26.2 degrees Celsius, which is half a degree above the norm.
Rainfall remained absent over the past 24 hours, with no precipitation recorded between 8:30 am on Monday and 8:30 am Tuesday. The humidity levels varied through the day, with 63 per cent recorded at 8:30 am and dropping to 31 per cent by 5:30 pm on April 28.
