Hyderabad reeled under heavy showers on Sunday night and early Monday morning, with neighbouring districts Medchal-Malkajgiri and Rangareddy recording the highest rainfall. According to Telangana Development Planning Society (TSDPS), several locations reported 20 mm to 46 mm of rain (🌧️), creating damp and chilly conditions across the region.
Severe Downpour in Key Areas
The heaviest rainfall was logged at Hyder Nagar, HMT Hills, Kukatpally (46.3 mm), followed closely by Vinayak Nagar in Malkajgiri (45 mm). Other severely hit zones included:
