The Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued an advisory ahead of the much-anticipated War 2 pre-release event, set to take place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Yousufguda Battalion Police Lines.
Authorities expect a large turnout, which could cause moderate traffic congestion around Kotla Vijaya Bhasker Reddy (KVBR) Stadium. To avoid delays, commuters are advised to steer clear of the stadium area during the event hours.
Traffic Diversions:
- From Jubilee Hills Check Post to KVBR Stadium: Vehicles will be diverted at Krishna Nagar Junction towards Srinagar Colony and Panjagutta.
- From Maitrivanam Junction to Jubilee Hills Check Post/Madhapur: Traffic will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti via RBI Quarters and Krishna Nagar Junction.
- From Maitrivanam Junction to Borabanda Bus Stop: Vehicles will be rerouted at Savera Function Hall via Krishnakanth Park, GTS Temple, Kalyan Nagar, and Mothi Nagar.
- From Borabanda Bus Stop to Maitrivanam Junction: Diversions will begin at Prime Garden in Kalyan Nagar via Midland Bakery, GTS Colony, Kalyan Nagar Junction, Umesh Chandra Statue U-turn, and ICICI U-turn.
The police have urged event attendees to arrive early and use designated parking areas, while non-attendees are encouraged to take alternate routes to ensure smooth traffic flow.
