Hyderabad is set to experience rainfall over the next several days, according to the latest 72-hour forecast by the Telangana Government’s weather monitoring agency. Authorities have issued a yellow alert for Wednesday and Thursday, followed by an orange alert for Friday and Saturday, signaling intensifying rainfall conditions.

The 24-hour forecast from 08:30 AM on Wednesday to 08:30 AM on Thursday indicates widespread moderate rainfall across the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area. Key localities including Kukatpally, Secunderabad, and the Cantonment Area are expected to record light to moderate showers, while western regions like Serlingampally remain relatively less affected.

The subsequent 48-hour forecast, valid from 08:30 AM on Thursday to 08:30 AM on Friday, predicts continued rainfall across most of the city. Eastern neighborhoods such as Kapra, Uppal, and Hayathnagar are likely to witness heavier showers, as indicated by blue-coded regions on the rainfall map. Central and western zones will experience moderate precipitation, sustaining yellow alert conditions.

By the 72-hour forecast period from 08:30 AM on Friday to 08:30 AM on Saturday, rainfall is expected to intensify citywide. The forecast highlights heavy rainfall across all GHMC regions, including the outskirts.
