The Cyberabad Police have issued an official traffic advisory urging IT companies and corporate offices to consider work-from-home arrangements on Thursday as well, following forecasts of heavy to very heavy rainfall in the region.
The advisory highlights potential safety risks for commuters, possible traffic congestion, and the need to maintain uninterrupted emergency services during adverse weather. Authorities have requested organizations to reduce travel-related pressures on city roads and support smooth functioning of essential services by allowing employees to work remotely.
The Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad, highlighted the importance of proactive measures for employee safety and infrastructure management. Companies operating in the Cyberabad area are encouraged to follow the WFH recommendation on Thursday to mitigate risks and minimize disruption.
The police department acknowledged the cooperation of corporate offices and stressed that adherence to the advisory would assist in preventing road blockages and ensure swift emergency response during periods of heavy rainfall.
