Hyderabad is set for another spell of rainfall Thursday, with weather models showing heavier showers in several zones of the city, followed by easing conditions by the weekend.
Data from the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) indicates that between 08:30 a.m. Thursday and 08:30 a.m. Friday, parts of southern and eastern Hyderabad may receive rainfall measuring 15.6 mm to 64.5 mm. Areas such as Charminar, Malakpet, Santosh Nagar, and Rajendranagar are marked for heavier showers, while Kukatpally, Quthbullapur, and Alwal are likely to see lighter rain.
The forecast shows a decline in rainfall intensity starting Friday, with only scattered light showers expected through Saturday morning. By Sunday, most of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits may see dry weather conditions, according to the 72-hour outlook.
