Hyderabad is experiencing a yellow weather alert as light to moderate rainfall is expected to continue until Wednesday morning. The city will see partly cloudy skies with intermittent thundershowers, accompanied by gusty winds ranging from 30 to 40 kmph, according to the latest forecast from TGDPS.
Morning and night hours are likely to experience misty or hazy conditions. Surface winds are predicted to blow from the north and northwest at speeds of 4 to 8 kmph, impacting normal city activities.
Authorities have warned of potential water accumulation in low-lying areas and roads, creating wet and slippery conditions that may affect traffic. Commuters are advised to exercise caution while driving and avoid waterlogged zones.
The southern parts of Hyderabad, including areas around MLKP, FLKN, CRMN, CDYG, and BNR, are expected to receive higher rainfall compared to northern localities. The rainfall map issued by TGDPS indicates heavier precipitation concentrated in the southern zones, while central and northern neighborhoods are forecast to see lighter showers.
