Hyderabad Rain Alert: Avoid These Routes Today

Hyderabad Traffic Police on Friday issued an alert, advising commuters to avoid travel on several waterlogged routes following overnight heavy rainfall.
Traffic authorities reported flooding at Mastan Cafe, rendering the route impassable. Waterlogged stretches at Alugaddabavi Road Under Bridge were cleared by DRF teams deployed by the Traffic Police to restore free movement.
Slow traffic was observed at Karbala Maidan, Chilkalguda Crossroads and near the Praja Bhavan flyover toward the NFCL junction due to standing water. Hyderabad Traffic Police officers and DRF personnel worked on-site to pump out water and direct motorists.
Additional waterlogging near Railway Degree College in Tarnaka continued to impede traffic flow. Police urged drivers to plan alternate routes until drainage operations are completed.
