Hyd To Host Game Developer Conference From Nov 13

Hyderabad: The 16th annual edition of India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) is scheduled to be held at HICC, Hyderabad from November 13 to 15, 2024. The event will have more than 250 speakers participating in the lined up 150 sessions. This year, the organisers are expecting a footfall of 5,000 attendees.
The three-day conference will feature over a 100 booths, IGDC Awards Night, Indie Initiative, Policy Round Tables, Workshops and Investor-Publisher Connect session. The invite-only platform will witness participation of 100 investors and publishers. Last year, the event had over 1,800 curated meetings with more than 70 investors and publishers, the organisers mentioned in an official press release.
For the 16th IGDC Awards, besides the 10 award categories and two special jury awards, a newly instituted category is the International Game Award. For the awards ceremony scheduled on November 14, 2024, the nominees have been announced on October 28, 2024.
