According to the current weather report from the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TGDPS) rains in Hyderabad will be substantial during the next 24 hours, with the southern parts getting the most.
The forecast concerning the rainfall, which is active from 8:30 AM on the 28th of October to 8:30 AM on the 29th of October, predicts that in the southern areas, namely Rajendranagar, Falaknuma, Chaderghat, Banjara Hills, and Hayathnagar, there would be moderate to heavy rain. The northern and central parts of the city, which consist of places like Serlingampally, Gurramguda, and KPHB, are expected to have light rain.
An orange alert has been issued by authorities for Hyderabad, and they are asking the people living in waterlogging prone low-lying areas to be extra careful.
Meteorologists point to the cyclonic conditions as the reason for the sudden rain activity.
