Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy participated in the oath-taking ceremony of Justice Surya Kant as the Chief Justice of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on Monday. The Chief Minister conveyed his greetings to Chief Justice Surya Kant on assuming office and expressed his best wishes for a distinguished and impactful tenure. Justice Surya Kant, who has been part of various landmark verdicts, succeeded Justice BR Gavai and he will serve as the Chief Justice of India for nearly 15 months. He will demit office on February 9, 2027, after turning 65.
