Hyderabad: The two great qualities that are needed to become a great leader is ‘courage and dacrifice,’ based on which success is dependent, said Anumula Revanth Reddy, Chief Minister, Telangana.

Speaking at the ISB Leadership Summit at the ISB campus in Hyderabad on Sunday, Revanth Reddy highlighting the traits of a leader said that one has to have the courage to take risks and sacrifice on certain comforts to achieve success and become a great leader.

He further said: “India’s great leaders had sacrificed their career, money, comforts, freedom and also lives for the wellbeing of the people. Great leaders are always ready to sacrifice. On the way, they might lose many things in the struggle. But they had the courage to do great things and become outstanding leaders.”

Reddy appealed to the students of ISB to become the brand ambassadors for Hyderabad and Telangana. He asked them to discuss about the growth and innovation taking place in the city with investors, businessmen and others, during their visit to other places.

The CM also called for collaboration between ISB students and the State. “My government is willing to work with ISB for finding solutions to the State’s problems. We may not offer big salaries, but will give good opportunities and big challenges,” he maintained.

Sharing his vision to make Telangana a ‘trillion dollar’ economy, Reddy said Hyderabad will have to be developed as a $600-billion city to achieve the $1-trillion economy goal for the State. He added: “Our aim is to compete with cities like New York, London, Paris, Tokyo and Seoul, not alone with other Indian cities. Nothing is impossible as we are set to promote India and Hyderabad as the best destination for investments in the world.”
