55K Sellers From TG On Amazon Platform

Hyderabad: Ecommerce major Amazon India on Tuesday said more than 50,000 sellers from Telangana were tapping its ecommerce platform to sell their products during the current festive season.

“For small and medium businesses (SMBs) from Telangana, this festive season offers a big opportunity to boost their online business through e-commerce, with a potential increase in consumer spending. By taking advantage of the increased demand, traffic, and special offers, these sellers can reach new customers,” Gaurav Bhatnagar, Director-Sales, Amazon India, told the media here.

Amazon India rolled out several initiatives including a reduction in selling fees by 3 per cent to 12 per cent. “We cut selling fees with an aim to help sellers increase their earnings and offer better prices to customers. This will give sellers an opportunity to optimize their operations for the Diwali shopping rush and continue to drive business growth after the festivities,” he added.
