WWE is charging into 2025 with a monumental shift that's set to change the geography of professional wrestling ever. For the first time in its fabulous history, the flagship show Monday Night Raw, which has been a chief of string TV since 1993, is leaving the familiar comfort of string and stepping into the streaming world, making its grand debut on Netflix.
As the action unfolded, it became clear this was no ordinary contest. The two warriors, Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, started by locking up in a battle of strength and will. Reigns swiftly hurled Sikoa outside the ring, a move that ignited the match’s volatile energy. But Sikoa wasn’t about to be outdone; he bounced Reigns’ skull off the announcer's table, and suddenly, the tempo shifted in his favor. The match took a wild turn as weapons were introduced—Sikoa tossed steel steps like they were mere toys, and soon after, a chair followed, adding to the chaos. The back-and-forth between these two behemoths was unrelenting, each one desperate to land the most brutal shot.
In a jaw-dropping moment, Reigns sent Sikoa crashing through a table, followed by a pin attempt. But just as it seemed like the Tribal Chief might reclaim dominance, Tama Tonga stormed the ring, halting the referee’s count. The drama escalated as Jacob Fatu joined the fray, aiming to tip the scales in Sikoa's favor. A Samoan spike from Fatu landed flush, but Reigns, ever resilient, kicked out. In his frustration, Sikoa took things to another level—he planted a Samoan spike right into the referee, incapacitating the official.
With Reigns now outnumbered, the cavalry arrived. Sami Zayn and Jimmy Uso surged to the ring, evening the odds and unleashing a vicious assault on Sikoa. A spear from Reigns followed, but there was no referee to make the count. The chaos continued to unfold as a new official rushed to the ring, but Sikoa kicked out at the last possible second, keeping the madness alive.
