The BCC has tmade it official that the player auction list for the TATA IPL 2026 has been announced, hence 350 players are confirmed to be auctioned in Abu Dhabi on December 16.
The auction this year attracted a great deal of interest, as evidenced by the fact that 1,390 players signed up for it. After a thorough process, the ultimate list was whittled down to 350 players, out of which 240 were Indians and 110 were foreigners. The list contains 224 Indian talents who have never played in the IPL and 14 overseas players who are also new to the league, thus ensuring a delightful combination of the upcoming and the established ones.
Franchises will battle for 77 available slots, out of which 31 slots are reserved for overseas players.
The highest base price category remains ₹2 crore, with 40 players opting to enter the auction at this premium bracket.
The auction will begin at 1:00 PM UAE time (2:30 PM IST) on Tuesday.
