Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar attended a special screening of Aamir Khan’s highly anticipated film Sitaare Zameen Par in Mumbai and shared glowing praise for the project ahead of its theatrical release tomorrow.
The screening was a star-studded affair, with several celebrities present to witness the film. Tendulkar, a close friend of Aamir Khan, took to social media through Aamir Khan Productions’ official channels to express his heartfelt review.
Calling the film “bahot achi lagi” (very good), Tendulkar described Sitaare Zameen Par as an emotional rollercoaster that will make audiences laugh and cry. He added, “I have always said that sport has the power to teach us everything.”
Highlighting the film’s impact, he said, “Itne saare messages milte hai, it has the power to bring everyone together.” He also commended the entire cast, giving them a “big thumbs up” for their outstanding performances.
The movie, which is a spiritual sequel to Aamir Khan’s 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par, features Genelia Deshmukh alongside 10 debutants. Directed by RS Prasanna and produced under Aamir Khan Productions, Sitaare Zameen Par has been certified U/A 13+ by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The film is set to hit theatres nationwide on June 20, 2025.
