New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have set a new benchmark in the Indian Premier League (IPL), becoming the first team ever to win all their away games in a single season. With a thrilling victory over Lucknow Super Giants, the Rajat Patidar-led side capped off the IPL 2025 league stage in historic fashion—securing a flawless 7-0 record in away matches.

The previous best away record was held jointly by Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, who each won seven out of eight away fixtures in the 2012 season. RCB has now surpassed that feat with a perfect streak on the road.

Most Away Wins in a Single IPL Season

7 – Royal Challengers Bengaluru (2025)

7 – Kolkata Knight Riders (2012)

7 – Mumbai Indians (2012)

6 – Delhi Capitals (2012)

6 – Gujarat Titans (2023)

RCB’s latest win not only secured their unbeaten away status but also ensured them a top-two finish on the league table, propelling them into Qualifier 1, where they will face Punjab Kings.

Adding to the list of achievements, RCB’s star batter Virat Kohli smashed his eighth half-century of the season, setting a new personal and tournament record. The previous record of seven fifties in a single IPL season was jointly held by Kohli himself, David Warner, and Shubman Gill.

As the franchise eyes its maiden IPL title, RCB's consistent performance, both home and away, marks a season to remember—not just for the fans but for the business of cricket. With viewership, merchandise sales, and brand engagement likely to spike following this historic run, the momentum is firmly on Bengaluru's side heading into the playoffs.
