Rishabh Pant Promoted in BCCI Central Contracts as Iyer and Kishan Miss Out

Iyer comes back to Grade B while Kishan joins Grade C but neither player received team India player contracts for 2023-24. The duration of Indian contracts spans from 01 October 2024 until 30 September 2025.

A sensational performance in the ICC Men's Champions Trophy led to Iyer's return after he guided his team to victory and earned the ICC Men's Player of the Month title for March. Kishan has served as a reserve wicketkeeper-batter for India while he opened the latest domestic Indian Premier League season by scoring a century.

The Grade A category includes wicketkeeper-batters Rishabh Pant promotion and KL Rahul along with seamers Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami and all-rounder Hardik Pandya and batter Shubman Gill.

These will be the maiden contracts for: All members of the Grade C category Abhishek Sharma, Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Varun Chakravarthy will receive their first contracts.
