The organisers of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) said Thursday that the 12th edition will begin on August 29 and that games will be played in Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, Chennai, and New Delhi.
- Bengaluru Bulls vs. Puneri Paltan and Telugu Titans vs. Tamil Thalaivas will play their season opening at Visakhapatnam's Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium.
- After a seven-year break, the PKL's return to Vizag signifies an exciting homecoming for the coastal city, according to a statement from the organisers.
- After a lengthy absence, Visakhapatnam, which hosted PKL in Season 6 (2018), is back in the tournament's city roster. It was also a venue in Seasons 1 and 3.
Multiple-City League Structure
There will be four legs to the event, each taking place in a different city:
- The first leg begins on August 29 at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
- Second Leg: September 12 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, indoor hall
- Notably, the PKL celebrated its 1,000th game during the 2023–24 season in Jaipur.
- Stage Three: Chennai's SDAT Multipurpose Indoor Stadium, starting on September 29
- Fourth Leg: October 13 at New Delhi's Thyagaraj Stadium
- A later time will see the release of the playoff schedule.
