Hyderabad: Supporters who are going to the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal to see the Lionel Messi football match on Saturday are recommended to organize their journey beforehand since the government has made parking zones available at 34 places around the stadium.
For managing the traffic flow smoothly and for the public’s safety parking zones have been set up for the general vehicles such as bikes, cars, VVIP escort, police personnel and also for meet-and-greet. All these parking zones are using digital co-ordinates so that the spectators can find their designated spots easily.
Parking has been arranged in special areas near Uppal X Road, Habsiguda, Ramanthapur Road, and NSL Building, which will be using footpaths, open grounds, college campuses, office premises, and service lanes. Moreover, separate zones for VVIP vehicles have been set up next to Gate No. 1 of the stadium and also on-duty police personnel at certain places.
Officials have once more mentioned that only ticket holders will be allowed entry and that vehicles parked in places other than those specified may be towed. Fans are advised to come early, obey traffic instructions, and use the mapped links for their routes to avoid getting caught up in last-minute congestion.
