The IPL auction witnessed another unexpected turn of events on the very day when young fast bowler Sushant Mishra got the contract that he rightfully deserved, whereas the other fast bowler Akash Madhwal remained undisclosed.
Sushant Mishra, who attracted the scouts with his raw speed and skill to control the lengths, aroused the interest of many teams as soon as his name was declared in the auction. Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals were the first ones to target the player, resulting in a short confrontation over the left-arm seamer’s services.
