The countdown has begun for the IPL 2026 mini auction, scheduled for December 16, 2023, at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. On December 9, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the final roster of 350 players who will auction, marking the day of heavy bidding where many famous cricketers could receive enormous bids.

Star Players to Watch

Cameron Green, Venkatesh Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi, David Miller, and Mahesh Theekshana among others will surely set the auction fire with their talents. However, in the same breath, we could say that the teams might prefer to nab the older lot consisting of Steve Smith and Quinton de Kock at the event, as they are likely to be the main draw in the sale.

Most franchises have already retained their core players, increasing the competition for the available slots and pushing the spotlight onto the marquee names.

IPL 2026 Auction: Start Time

India: 2:30 PM IST
