IPL 2026 LIVE Auction Updates: Ravi Singh to Rajasthan Royals, Salil Arora Joins Sunrisers Hyderabad
IPL 2026 auction sees Ravi Singh join Rajasthan Royals for ₹95 lakh, while Sunrisers Hyderabad sign Salil Arora for ₹1.5 crore after competitive bidding.
Ravi Singh and Salil Arora are sold to Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively during the IPL 2026 live auction.

The IPL 2026 live auction started off very excitingly with the signings of Ravi Singh and Salil Arora who went to new teams through very intense bidding.
The Rajasthan Royals (RR) team was able to buy Ravi Singh for the amount of ₹95 lakhs after a short bidding battle with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) team. RCB was the first to start the bidding but then RR quickly came in to nab the deal, supporting Singh’s steady performance in the domestic leagues and his ability to stay calm under pressure. The signing not only gives Rajasthan a stronger Indian core but also goes along with the franchise’s plan of developing a balanced team around the youngsters.
Right after that, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) made their team stronger by getting Salil Arora for the amount of ₹1.5 crores. The competition saw Mumbai Indians (MI) and SRH having a bidding war until MI had no choice but to drop out after they had spent all their money. Arora’s being a high performer in the domestic leagues and his capacity to contribute in the important moments made him the first pick for SRH who want to increase the flexibility of their squad just before IPL 2026.
The two signings are clear indications of the franchises investing wisely in Indian players so as to complement their squads as the auction goes on gaining momentum.
