The IPL 2026 auction is not far away and meanwhile, Indian players have captured the attention of the teams for the auction, and among them are Venkatesh Iyer, Prithvi Shaw, Ravi Bishnoi, and Sarfaraz Khan, in addition to the foreign ones like Cameron Green, Quinton de Kock, and David Miller. However, the next season may have uncapped Indian bowlers at a huge price tag, who will still be among the less popular but will still refrain from capturing the franchises' interests.

The next will attempt to detail the uncapped Indian bowlers that are being very attentively tracked and are tipped to be part of the IPL 2026 auction:

Aqib Nabi

One of the most thrilling fast-bowling prospects in the domestic circuit is Aqib Nabi, the pacer from Jammu & Kashmir. He is fast and precise and the praise he gets is not at all undeserved since he has been a performer in all formats of the game.

The right-arm seamers' performances during the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy were simply fantastic and his form was so great that he even carried it into the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy grab, where he picked 15 wickets in 7 matches and finished 4th among the highest wicket-takers. One match saw him even showcasing his batting prowess against Madhya Pradesh. The overall impact of Aqib and his recent form are expected to be the prime drivers of the IPL franchises’ gigantic interest.

Eden Apple Tom

So far the young and dynamic fast bowler of Kerala Eden Apple Tom has enjoyed a fast-growing and very successful career in first-class cricket. The 20-year-old right-arm quick is already one of the leading wicket-takers with 19 wickets to his name in 7 first-class games, out of which two were four-wicket hauls.

The best performance up to now was Madhya Pradesh in the recent Ranji season where he had match figures of 4/55 and 2/33. While he still needs to hone his skills in the limited-overs formats, he is at least a contender for the base price of ₹20 lakh due to his raw pace and skills.

Raj Limbani

Another promising player who has the possibility of being auctioned is the fast bowler Raj Limbani from India Under-19 World Cup finalist team. The right-arm pacer began his T20 career in 2024 and has thus far taken 16 wickets in 11 matches.

Limbani was the one who got the new ball during the Under-19 World Cup and then again showed his capacity to survive at the difficult death over—a trait that is in high demand in the IPL.

Akash Madhwal

IPL debutant Akash Madhwal, who made his way to IPL in 2023, managed to display his worth at the top level in no time. The right-arm fast bowler was one of the important players in the Mumbai Indians team and then he was transferred to the Rajasthan Royals where he also succeeded.

Till date, Madhwal has taken 23 wickets in 17 IPL games and he is recognized as a reliable death overs specialist. His performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26 was not impressive as he just collected three wickets in six games for Uttarakhand but still, his IPL experience might be a factor that would help him to be in a good bid.

Ashok Sharma

Ashok Sharma has come up as the top player of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26 playing for Rajasthan. The right-arm fast bowler is currently the highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 19 wickets in seven matches which also makes him the leading wicket-taker of the tournament.

Having been a net bowler for both Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders, Ashok is already getting into the IPL circles as a familiar face that might just get a chance this season to score his first-ever IPL contract.
