IPL 2026 Auction: Final List of 350 Players Released, 77 Slots Up for Grabs
IPL 2026 Auction: Final list of 350 players released with 77 slots available. Complete breakdown of capped, uncapped players, base prices and key additions.
Quinton de Kock joins the final IPL 2026 auction list with a base price of ₹1 crore.

The countdown to the TATA IPL 2026 Player Auction has officially begun, with the final player roster now trimmed to 350 names. The high-stakes auction will take place in Abu Dhabi on December 16, promising another dramatic season of bidding wars, surprise picks and intense franchise battles.
350 Players Shortlisted From 1,390 Registrations
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday released the final list comprising:
- 240 Indian players
- 110 overseas players
- 224 uncapped Indians
- 14 uncapped overseas players
Despite massive registrations this year, the auction pool has been pruned to players who offer a blend of experience, young flair and strategic value.
77 Vacancies Across 10 Franchises
A total of 77 slots are open across the ten teams, including:
- 31 overseas slots
- With such limited openings, the competition is set to be fiercer than ever.
- Quinton de Kock Makes a Late Entry
One of the biggest talking points is the late addition of South Africa’s Quinton de Kock, who entered the auction pool after a franchise personally requested his inclusion.
Base price: ₹1 crore
This is a 50% drop from his ₹2 crore base price during the previous mega auction.
Reports also suggest a few other players were added despite not registering originally.
₹2 Crore Bracket Leads the List
The highest reserve price category features 40 players, making the ₹2 crore bracket one of the most competitive segments of the auction.
BCCI on Auction Procedure
“The first accelerated presentation will cover players numbered 71–350. Once these names are presented, franchises will be asked to submit names of any unsold or unpresented players from the full list for further accelerated rounds,” the board said.
