IPL 2025: SRH Achieves Unique Feat This Season

Sunrisers Hyderabad is the only team in the forthcoming edition of the IPL that has foreign players as captain, instead of a local player.

Although virtually all other teams have a local player who is captain SRH remains the one team among the 10 that has a foreigner as captain - Patrick Cummins, more famous as Pat Cummins.

This record has been in SRH for quite some time as it has David Warner as its captain for the majority of the season until the present. The Australian captaincy record is currently being taken care of through by Pat Cummins.

Oddly enough, Kane Williamson was the captain of the team for a brief time before being let go from the club by their franchise.
