India vs Pakistan Set for December Clash as ACC Releases U19 Asia Cup 2025 Schedule
India and Pakistan are set to clash on December 14 in the U19 Men’s Asia Cup 2025 as the ACC releases the full tournament schedule. The 50-over event will run from December 12–21 in Dubai and serves as a key warm-up ahead of the U19 World Cup.

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has made it public today that the full schedule for the U19 Men’s Asia Cup has been drawn, and the tournament is expected to run in Dubai from December 12 to 21, 2025. The cup which will be played in the 50-over format will be a preparatory tournament for the World Cup of U19s which is to be held in January next year.
One of the main attractions of the timetable is the clash of titans between India and Pakistan which will be contested on December 14. The encounter has become a regular occurrence in the tournament across the board and in the WCs.
India, Pakistan in Group A
The total number of participating teams is 8, including 3 teams that come from the U19 Premier Cup qualifiers. India and Pakistan find themselves in Group A with the two other qualifying teams to be determined later on.
On the other hand, the teams in Group B are Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and the last team from the qualifiers.
The increasing frequency of cricket matches between India and Pakistan has lately grabbed more and more spectators' attention, especially since the senior men's teams had already crossed paths several times earlier this year—Asia Cup final match and Rising Stars Asia Cup final included.

Road to the U19 World Cup
The youth Asia Cup is supposed to be a dressing rehearsal of the World Cup, with the young cricketers getting the best possible training. The WC is going to be held in Zimbabwe and Namibia from January 15 to February 6, 2026. India will be playing its first match on the very first day against a qualifying team.
