England Make Strategic Changes Ahead of Series Finale
In a bold move, England have made four changes to their squad for the final Test. Jacob Bethell, who impressed during his debut tour in New Zealand, has replaced Stokes. His all-round capabilities and part-time spin option offer England a fresh edge.
The bowling attack also sees a shuffle. Jofra Archer, who returned to the Test squad at Lord's and featured in the last two matches, has been rested. Gus Atkinson is set to make a comeback. Meanwhile, Jamie Overton comes in for Liam Dawson, as England opt for a pace-heavy strategy, going into the match with four fast bowlers and relying on Joe Root and Bethell for spin duties.
Josh Tongue also returns to the side after being dropped for the third Test, replacing Brydon Carse, who featured in the first four games.
