The Royal Ranthambore Golf 2023-24 season's third leg unfolded at the challenging Boulder Hills Golf and Country Club in Hyderabad on November 18. The event witnessed a full field and competitive spirit, with Shweta Gullapalli, Vasu Merugu, and Vidyasagar emerging as victors in the ladies, 0-14 men's handicap, and 15-24 men's handicap categories, respectively.

The legendary charm of Hyderabad was on display as the rocky and demanding Boulder Hills course provided the perfect backdrop for the tournament. The former Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations, Syed Akbaruddin, graced the event as the chief guest, presenting awards to the winners.

Addressing the participants, Mr. Akbaruddin praised the vibrancy of Hyderabad and its booming golf culture. He noted, "Hyderabad is a boom town and golf is also booming here."

The event, co-powered by Qatar Airways and co-presented by IndianOil XP 100, featured prominent sponsors, including Bandhan Mutual Fund, Darwin Platform Group of Companies, Da Milano, Morris Garages, and Sheraton.

Notable participants included Allu Srinivas Rao of Qun Labs, Vinayak Reddy Chintapally of JP Morgan, and Anil Yamani of OSI Digital, among others.

Shweta Gullapalli, Vasu Merugu, and Vidyasagar clinched the top spots in their respective categories, showcasing outstanding performances on the challenging course. The tournament also recognized on-course achievements, with prizes awarded for closest to pin, straightest drive, and longest drive on specific holes.

As the golfing community eagerly anticipates the next event in Chandigarh on December 16, the Royal Ranthambore Golf continues to captivate enthusiasts with its blend of competition and camaraderie."
