Crude oil futures declined 0.74 per cent to Rs 6,947 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil traded 0.94 per cent lower at $83.06 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 1.18 per cent lower at $88.44 per barrel in New York.
On MCX, crude oil for May delivery fell Rs52 or 0.74 per cent to Rs6,947 per barrel with a business volume of 5,221 lots.
