Union Minister visits NSTL

Visakhapatnam Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Labour and Employment Rameshwar Teli, visited Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL), here on Saturday.

He paid tributes at Dr. Kalam Prerana Sthal located at NSTL.

lDr. Y. Sreenivas Rao, Outstanding Scientist and Director of NSTL briefed the dignitary on the activities of the laboratory and the employee-friendly initiatives of the lab.

The Minister visited various work centres and was apprised of the R&D activities in the fields of underwater weapons, batteries, hydrodynamics and warship technologies. He also visited the Lithium-Ion Battery Development Center and appreciated the work being carried out.

Dr A. Srinivas Kumar, Senior Scientist briefed the Minister on military and civilian applications of Battery Technologies being developed by NSTL.
