Vijayawada/Visakhapatnam: AP Discoms have claimed that the power supply position in Andhra Pradesh is better than other States.

In a bulletin, the government said they met 200.80 MU of power demand on May 4 as against 202.85 MU the same day last year registering a growth of -1 per cent year on year.

The peak demand during the day was 9711 MW at 11:47 hours. The peak demand met on the same day in 2021 was 10200 MW registering a growth of -4.79 per cent year on year. Average demand during the day was 8374 MW. It claimed no load shedding for domestic and agriculture sectors.
