Indian football team’s head coach, Igor Stimac, announced the second list of 15 players who will be a part of the national camp for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualification round matches.

While the first list of 26 players, which was announced by the head coach a few days ago, will commence their camp from May 10, the second list of 15 will join them by May 15.

The national camp will be held under Stimac’s leadership at Bhubaneshwar.

The second list has players from Mumbai City FC and Mohun Bagan, who played in the Indian Super League final on Sunday.

India will play the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualification Round 2 matches against Kuwait and Qatar. India will meet Kuwait in Kolkata on June 6 before travelling to Qatar to play against them on June 11.

India is currently placed second in Group A, having amassed four points from four matches.

The top two teams in the group will qualify for Round 3 of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and will also seal a place at the AFC Asian Cup 2027, which will be held in Saudi Arabia.

Defenders: Amey Ganesh Ranawade, Jay Gupta, Lalchungnunga, Muhammad Hammad, Narender, Nikhil Poojary, Roshan Singh Naorem, Akash Mishra, Anwar Ali, Mehtab Singh, Rahul Bheke and Subhasish Bose

Midfielders: Brandon Fernandes, Edmund Lalrindika, Imran Khan, Isak Vanlalruatfela, Jeakson Singh Thounaojam, Mahesh Singh Naorem, Mohammad Yasir, Nandhakumar Sekar, Rahul Kannoly Praveen, Suresh Singh Wangjam, Vibin Mohanan, Anirudh Thapa, Deepak Tangri, Lalengmawia Ralte, Lallianzuala Chhangte, Liston Colaco and Sahal Abdul Samad
